Alton Towers Resort named most popular attraction for corporate takeovers
In a survey conducted by Alton Towers Resort, 70.73% said that a theme park would be their attraction of choice for a corporate takeover, and so this summer Alton Towers Resort is offering delegates the ultimate childhood fantasy, a theme park all to themselves.
The Keys to the Park programme will allow companies to exclusively takeover the park for select dates this summer, meaning no queues and a day spent on over 50 thrilling rides and attractions, including the brand new Galactica, the world's first ever virtual reality rollercoaster.
Meanwhile, the survey also revealed that Marketing were considered the bravest department in the office, with Accounts viewed as the biggest scaredy cats. Donald Trump was also voted the most popular business figure to be sent into Oblivion!
Research has shown that fear and adrenaline can help delegates bond and get the creative juices flowing, so what could be better than treating the office to a day of thrills and excitement? If the entire theme park isn't enough, companies can also choose to take over the two onsite themed hotels, the new Enchanted Village offering 120 lodges and 5 luxury treehouses, as well as the waterpark, mini golf course, the spa, high ropes course, any of the resort restaurants including the new Rollercoaster Restaurant, and the extensive conference and meetings space.
Ellie Jones, Business Development Manager, Alton Towers Resort said, "It's fantastic to see that a theme park was chosen as the most popular attraction that delegates would like to take over, and we're delighted to be able to offer just that to companies this summer. With capacity for over 10,000 people across the resort, we really do offer the ultimate away day for companies of all sizes."
