Alton Towers Resort announces Skin Snatchers, a brand new maze available for exclusive corporate hire this autumn
Alton Towers Resort has announced an additional new maze for 2016, which can be hired out exclusively for corporate groups on selected dates between 8th and 31st October, during the Resort’s Scarefest this Halloween. In addition to the Terror of Tower maze which was announced last month, brave delegates can take on the new Skin Snatchers maze for their corporate events as well as Sub Species the End Games maze which launched last year.
The brand new maze for 2016, Skin Snatchers is located in The Towers, and sees maze-dwellers wander around the baron town of Altonville, home to a family of inbred hillbillies who have been cast out due to their hideous disfigurement and warped way of life. Delegates will have to avoid capture, as these creatures seek out townsfolk in a quest to remove their skin and stich it to their own.
Launched in 2015, delegates once again have the option to exclusively hire Sub Species the End Games. Delegates will enter a post-apocalyptic sewer dwelling community that has been infested by a species from another world. In order to survive, these beings sacrifice innocent people from the world above, for their own gruesome pleasure.
Karen Johnson, Corporate Events Manager at Alton Towers Resort, said ‘we are always looking to develop our current teambuilding activity portfolio and Scarefest is such a great opportunity to add a little fear and excitement into a corporate event. We always look to utilise our leisure offering for the corporate market and Skin Snatchers is no exception. What better way to build bonds and motivate a team with this thrilling, scary experience.’
Exclusive hire is available at a special discounted rate of £1,500 when booking a residential conference with a minimum of 100 bedrooms by 2nd September 2016 or £2,000 thereafter. The mazes are available for exclusive corporate hire on selected dates.
