The Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau will be joining fellow Heart of England destinations Worcestershire and The Black Country at International Confex 09, to bolster their claim as "The Perfect Location".

Exhibiting under the Meet Heart of England banner, all three destinations are centrally located and easily accessible by road, rail and air. Between them, they also represent some 100 different and diverse venues – capable of hosting anything from a small meeting or event, through to major conferences and exhibitions. And the three destinations will be taking that message to International Confex, from 24th - 26th February, in a wide variety of ways.
The purpose-built stand funded by Advantage West Midlands, for example, will feature a number of plasma TV screens, all of which will be showcasing the region and all that it has to offer. Copies of each destination's guide will also be available throughout the three-day show. And representatives will be on hand to answer any questions, and to assist with bookings. While all visitors to the Meet Heart of England stand (stand number B858) will also be encouraged to take away a free canvas 'bag for life', which will be packed full of 'goodies' from the regional venues, some will be lucky enough to have their caricatures drawn free-of-charge by a professional cartoonist who will be on the stand throughout the show.
The Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau will be unveiling all of its latest members in its new, bi-annual guide which is - without question - the most eco-friendly to date. Bureau Manager Claire Williams is keen to highlight the fact that the new brochure not only features more venues than ever before, but also goes a long way to promoting an altogether greener way of 'doing the business'.
The Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau is a previous winner of the M&IT "Best UK Convention Bureau". A member of the British Association of Conference Destinations (as well as the 'Meet Heart of England' consortium) it also operates a free Venue Finding Service for anyone enquiring about conference and meeting facilities in the region.
