The Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau has unveiled all of its latest members in its newest, bi-annual guide to the very best meetings and events facilities in this part of England.
A comprehensive 40-page guide to all of the venues, and other service providers, in-and-around Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, the 2008 brochure is the sixth since the inception of the Conference Bureau.
Rookery Hall, near Nantwich, world-renowned as the venue where Posh and Becks became engaged, the £100m Trentham Estate featuring a brand new Premier Inn, The Wedgwood Visitor Centre, and the country's only Monkey Forest are just some of the new members featured in the brochure which has been compiled by the award-winning Bureau team.
Other newcomers include the Ramada Newton Park, The Three Horseshoes Inn and Country Hotel near Leek, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Conference Suite, and The Wolseley Conference Centre.
It all adds-up to the fact the Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau now has 43 venues as members – more than ever before.
Many of the existing members, meanwhile, have also invested heavily in upgrading and expanding their conference and meetings facilities. Crewe Hall, for example, has spent around £11m - adding 52 new bedrooms, additional conference facilities along with some state-of-the-art technology to seat up to 360 delegates - to one of the most historic venues in the region.
Previous winners of the M&IT "Best UK Convention Bureau", and a member of the British Association of Conference Destinations, as well as the 'Meet Heart of England' consortium, the Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau also operates a free Venue Finding Service.
