Moorcroft Pottery is hand made from start to finish in England for collectors throughout the world in almost exactly the same way that it was more than a century ago. The skilled technique of tube lining, a process not unlike decorating a cake is used to apply a raised design outline.
The tube liners fine lines on the delicate unfired pot are then infilled with colours by a highly trained painter.
A guided Factory Tour is an ideal opportunity to witness the skills required to make each unique piece of Moorcroft. Our craftsman and women are all there to answer your questions. The Moorcroft Museum enables the visitor to absorb over a century of design excellences from the world's best-loved art pottery.
